With the Presidential elections just around the corner on Sunday, June 2, it’s time to stock up on your favorite beverages because there’s a booze ban coming your way. Starting from midnight on Friday all the way through Sunday’s midnight, the sale of alcoholic drinks will be off-limits across Baja California Sur.
But hey, if you’re in Los Cabos, there’s a bit of a loophole. While the ban still applies, tourists can breathe a sigh of relief because alcoholic beverages will still be available in the tourist hotspots. Just remember, this exception is strictly for our foreign friends – sorry, Mexican residents and visitors, you’ll have to wait it out or find alternative ways to quench your thirst.
