Local Orange Production to Break Record

The production of oranges in the santo Domingo Valley is expected to reach 70,000 metric tons, according to a report from the state’s agriculture secretariat. The orange production, which is nearly 25,000 metric tons up from last year supports 1,000 workers and will sell for an estimated $23 million dollars. The valley is in ciudad Constitucion, north of La Paz.
