Due to the high hydric stress that La Paz is suffering, the federal government approved a $50 million USD investment to treat water from a dam to make it drinkable. The dam is named La Buena Mujer (the good woman) and has a capacity of 14 million cubic meters when full. The treatment plant might be finished this same year. Phew!
