Oscar Leggs, Mayor of Los Cabos, has announced that a group of government officials and business organizations are working on changes along the Transpeninsular that goes from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose. The plan aims to reduce speeding and therefore the numerous car wrecks that have been happening lately. This July, changes at the entrance to both towns will be changed and improved, as well as in the Cerro Colorado area and a dirt street around El Tezal barrio is being paved. Perhaps a few stoplights will be deployed in the more crucial areas and new, higher fines for speeding will be announced. In the meantime, Stop Speeding! Speed limit is 90 km/hr or 52 mi/hr.
