The first La Paz Yellowtail fishing tournament to benefit the Oleadas de Luz (Waves of Light) non-governmental organization was a total success, with 33 boats and 121 anglers participating. The winner was a 35.4 Jurel (yellowtail), which team took home the prize, a brand new VW Truck. Oleadas de Luz, which helps children and teenagers of low income families with health problems, like cancer, received a donation of $5,100 USD from the proceeds of the tournament.
