Our state’s secretary of tourism will attend the “Tianguis Turistico” that will be held in the city of Merida, in the state of Yucatan in southern Mexico from November 15 to 18. Tianguis is a Mexican word for open market or street market, and this if the 45th edition, where hotels, airlines and tourism related services from around the world get together to buy and showcase vacation opportunities throughout Mexico. This year, representatives from 42 countries will be present with over 3,000 exhibition booths and nearly 1,500 possible buyers.
