The much controversial 8.5 km (5 mile) long new road from El Tule bridge to the Westin Regina seems to be close to be finished, from the photo below. Victor Green, director of Los Cabos urban development agency, said it’s 90 percent finished and was approved in December 2015 by the city council. It still needs authorization from the federal communications agency (SCT) to connect to the current road. This work will allow developers along the way to build on better land avoiding creeks and dry arroyos. Stay tuned.
