The first camel born in Southern Baja arrived this month at Cactus Tours, the off-road and camel tour company located in Migriño, 15 minutes north of Cabo on the road to Todos Santos. He was named “Choyerito,” as the original people of Los Cabos are called Choyeros. Why? Because of the large number of Choya plants (Cylindropuntia fulgida) that grow in the area. Choyerito weighed 35 kilos and is 110 cms tall. Reportedly, he was born completely healthy and is very affectionate and cheerful. Welcome to Cabo!
