Telmex Strike Ends

Well, angst no more. An agreement between Telmex and its workers’ union to sit down and review the demands – with a deadline of 20 days, ended the strike in less than 12 hours. The Union demands an increase in salaries equal or above the inflation (8.12 at the end of June), to make retirement pension available to new employees and a few other minor items. The black and red flags were removed and the Telmex doors were open again all over Mexico. Stay tuned.
