A protest has been announced for Tuesday, June 7 over the fourlane between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, in front of El Tezal barrio. The protest is against the multiple car accidents that have happened on that road, mostly due to speeding and drunk driving. In the most recent case last week, there were four car wrecks on the transpeninsular, one of them with four vehicles involved, where 2 young tourists died. The driver that is allegedly guilty is a 24-years old woman who was found with high alcohol content. The maximum speed over that fourlane is 90 kms/hour (about 53 miles per hour). Stop speeding people!
