Canada to Ease Rules for Travelers

Canada to Ease Rules for Travelers

As of midnight of July 5, fully vaccinated travelers allowed to enter Canada will not be required to quarantine for 14 days or take an additional COVID-19 test after they arrive in Canada. Air travelers will not be required to stay at a government authorized hotel, either. Travelers must have received the full series of a vaccine at least 14 days before entering Canada. The vaccines accepted by the government include Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). Travelers must provide documentation of their vaccinations in English, French or with a certified translation, and meet all other mandatory requirements including having a negative COVID-19 test result before travelling and getting a test upon their arrival in Canada.
