Los Cabos Economy Surpasses Last Year’s
Following the quarantine and lockdown, Los Cabos economy bounced back, reaching 25 percent more revenue than that of 2019 in the first 11 months of the year. The cause? Glad you asked. Wealthier tourists, an average room rate of $320 USD, and a change in demographics. We are being visited by younger people, many or most of them traveling in small groups, some on private aircraft and staying at the most expensive resorts. Sportsfishing is back at about 35 percent of last year’s numbers, but, as mentioned, chartering the bigger, most luxurious boats.
