The Loreto 500  “La Gran Carrera Nocturna” (The Great Night Race) is part of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Baja Desert Series 2026, delivering an exciting off-road racing experience across Baja California Sur.

The event will take place from April 10 to April 12, 2026, covering the route from Loreto to Comondú to La Paz. This marks the 2nd edition of this thrilling desert race, featuring motorcycles and off-road vehicles competing in a single-stage format with no time cuts.

The schedule includes:

• April 10: Mechanical inspection in Loreto from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• April 11: Race day, starting from Loreto  motorcycles depart at 2:00 PM, and cars at 4:00 PM
• April 12: Awards ceremony in La Paz at 2:00 PM

Supported by major sponsors such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, Chevrolet, Nissan, and others, the event promises high-speed action, endurance challenges, and a spectacular night racing atmosphere through the Baja desert.
