“Salineritos a Pescar,” a children’s fishing event taking place in Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur. This activity is designed for children between 6 and 13 years old, encouraging outdoor recreation, family involvement, and a connection with nature through fishing.

Registration will take place on April 25, 2026, at the Explanada Salón Fundadores from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and participation is completely free of charge. The fishing event itself will be held on April 26, 2026, at Los Gaviones (La Isla), from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Participants will compete in the “escama libre” category, allowing for a variety of fish species to be caught. The event offers several prizes, including $174 dollars for first place, $116 dollars for second place, and $58 dollars for third place, along with 28 additional participation prizes of $29 dollars each.

In addition to the competition, the event will include extra activities and surprises, creating a fun and engaging environment for both children and their families. Supported by local organizations and sponsors, “Salineritos a Pescar” aims to promote sportsmanship, environmental awareness, and community engagement in a safe and enjoyable setting.
