The exhibition “Remembrances of the South Californian Carnival” invites the public to take a journey through the history, traditions, and visual memory of carnival celebrations in Baja California Sur. Through historical photographs, archival materials, and cultural references, the exhibition highlights the evolution of the regional carnival and its importance in the social and cultural identity of the state.

The opening will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Lobby of Teatro Juárez in La Paz, Baja California Sur. The exhibition will be on display from February 4 to March 11, 2026, open Monday through Friday.

This cultural event is organized by the Government of the State of Baja California Sur, the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura, and the State Historical Archive “Pablo L. Martínez”, in coordination with local cultural institutions. Free admission is available to all visitors.
