Gray Whale Festival – Shore Fishing Tournament | Puerto Chale 2026

Puerto Chale welcomes anglers and families to the 2nd Shore Fishing Tournament, held as part of the Gray Whale Festival 2026. This community-focused event celebrates marine life, local culture, and outdoor recreation in one of Baja California Sur’s most scenic coastal destinations.

The tournament features two categories:

• Children’s Category (ages 6–12) – free registration

• Open Category (ages 13 and up) – registration fee applies

With a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000 MXN, participants will compete for cash prizes and fishing gear, making it an exciting and rewarding experience for both amateur and experienced anglers.

This event is part of the annual Gray Whale season in Puerto Chale, offering visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy sport fishing while celebrating nature, family participation, and sustainable tourism.
