Fishing enthusiasts and outdoor adventure lovers are invited to participate in the El Delgadito Sport Fishing Tournament, a family-friendly competition designed to celebrate the excitement of recreational fishing while promoting responsible fishing practices. This special event will bring together anglers of different ages and experience levels for a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and appreciation of Baja California Sur’s coastal traditions.

The tournament features two divisions: an Infant Category for children ages 6 to 12 years old and an Open Category for all other participants. The competition will be held under a catch-and-release format, encouraging environmental awareness and the conservation of local marine resources while still allowing participants to enjoy the thrill of the sport.

Registration will take place on July 3, 2026, at the Community School, with participants receiving event information and competition rules. The official fishing day will be held on July 4, 2026, at La Pitahaya, where anglers will gather for the morning start and spend the day competing for prizes and recognition.
