Step into the rhythm and elegance of traditional dance at Danzoneando en el Corazón de Airapí, a welcoming series of dance workshops hosted by Centro Cultural La Paz. Open to participants of all ages and experience levels, this program offers an opportunity to learn the graceful movements of danzón, one of Mexico’s most cherished social dances, while also exploring the lively rhythms and styles of Caribbean dance.

Led by instructor Luis Fernando Rodríguez, the workshops provide a fun and engaging environment where participants can develop dance techniques, improve coordination, and enjoy the cultural traditions behind these iconic dance styles. Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous dance experience, the sessions are designed to encourage learning, creativity, physical activity, and social interaction in a friendly atmosphere.

Classes take place every Monday during July, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at Centro Cultural La Paz, located on 16 de Septiembre #120, corner of Belisario Domínguez, Downtown La Paz, Baja California Sur. Admission is completely free, making this an excellent opportunity for both residents and visitors to experience the joy of dance while connecting with the region’s rich cultural heritage
