Join a vibrant multi-day festival that honors one of Mexico’s most sacred and essential foods: corn. El Maíz Nos Une (“Corn Unites Us”) brings together gastronomy, traditional knowledge, art, music, and community in a rich cultural experience at the Marina de Cabo San Lucas.

Taking place from September 26 to 29, 2026, at Lote #8 in the Marina of Cabo San Lucas, this special event highlights the central role of maize in Mexican identity, history, and daily life through a diverse program of activities.

This festival is more than a food event  it is a celebration of heritage, sustainability, and the living traditions that connect people across generations. Visitors can taste traditional dishes, discover handmade crafts, learn about ancestral knowledge, enjoy music and dance, and take part in meaningful conversations about the role of maize in Mexican culture.

Organized with the support of the Gobierno de México, the Gobierno del Estado de Baja California Sur, CONAFE, and other cultural institutions, El Maíz Nos Une offers a unique opportunity to experience the depth and beauty of one of Mexico’s most important cultural symbols.
