In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Northwestern Center for Biological Research (CIBNOR), in collaboration with the Centro Cultural La Paz, we invite you to the opening of the photography exhibition “Beyond the Visible.”

This unique exhibition merges the worlds of scientific rigor and artistic beauty through the lens of microscopy. Over the last five decades, CIBNOR has explored the hidden details of the natural world, and this collection showcases breathtaking images that are usually invisible to the naked eye. Visitors will experience a stunning visual journey where biological structures transform into abstract art, highlighting 50 years of dedication to research and discovery in Mexico.
