On Sunday, August 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the Gobierno del Estado de Baja California Sur, the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura, and the Archivo Histórico del Estado “Pablo L. Martínez”, in coordination with the Benemérita Escuela Preparatoria “José Ma. Morelos y Pavón”, invite the public to this enriching academic and cultural event.
The conversatorio will feature distinguished participants Marco Antonio Landavazo Arias and Jesús Guadalupe Encinas, who will share insights, analysis, and reflections on the Independence of Mexico. Through dialogue and historical perspective, attendees will have the opportunity to explore key events, figures, and meanings of this foundational moment in the nation’s history.
