This special three-day festival brings together scientists, conservationists, artists, educators, and nature lovers for a rich program of conferences, workshops, and cultural activities dedicated to the birds of the region and beyond. Through expert talks, hands-on learning, and community engagement, the festival highlights the beauty of avian life and the urgent need to protect their habitats.
Featured speakers include recognized specialists such as Dra. Sandby Contreras Martínez, Dra. Susan Bonfield, Dr. J. Roberto Sosa López, Dr. Roberto Carmona, Dra. Valeria Tenorio, Dr. Eduardo Palacios, and Magister Roosbel Miro, who will share valuable insights on bird research, ecology, and conservation.
The program also includes a thoughtful discussion panel titled “Miradas que conservan: arte y comunicación visual para la protección de las aves” (Looks that Conserve: Art and Visual Communication for the Protection of Birds), exploring how art and media can support conservation efforts.
