
2nd Goat Festival in Mulege

Celebrate the traditions, flavors, and cultural heritage of Baja California Sur at the 2nd Annual Goat Festival of San Francisco de la Sierra, Mulegé 2026. Taking place on May 16 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this vibrant community festival brings together local families, visitors, artisans, and performers for a day dedicated to regional identity, gastronomy, and artistic expression in one of the most unique areas of the Sierra region.
The festival highlights the importance of goat farming and traditional rural culture, showcasing the customs and culinary traditions that have been part of the region for generations. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy local dishes, discover authentic regional flavors, and experience the warm hospitality that characterizes the communities of Mulegé and the Sierra.
In addition to the gastronomic experience, the event will feature a diverse artistic program filled with live entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy performances by magician and ventriloquist Ángel Cú, musical presentations by young singer Ana Victoria Soto Romero “Vicky,” traditional regional music by Los Regionales de la Sierra and Los Herederos de Macario, as well as folkloric dance performances presented by children and senior dance groups from Bahía Asunción. The festival creates a festive atmosphere that celebrates both local talent and the cultural richness of Baja California Sur.
