Filmmakers and audiovisual creators from Baja California Sur are invited to take part in the Concurso de Cortometraje de Los Cabos, an important call for short films that forms part of the Muestra de Cine Vagabundo.

This contest is open to works of fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental cinema. Participants may submit up to two films, with no age restriction. Eligible creators must be residents of the municipality of Los Cabos or the state of Baja California Sur (with a minimum of three years of residency) and the works must have been produced from January 2025 onward. The maximum duration is 20 minutes.

Selected works will be screened during the Muestra de Cine Vagabundo from November 12 to 14, 2026, at venues including Cerrito del Timbre, Plaza Puerto Paraíso, and Pabellón Cultural in Cabo San Lucas.

This is a valuable opportunity for local filmmakers to showcase their vision, compete for prizes, and share their stories with the community. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this celebration of independent cinema in Los Cabos!
