The 9th Edition of FICLAPAZ (Festival Internacional de Cine La Paz) is an exciting cultural event dedicated to celebrating the power of cinema, storytelling, creativity, and international artistic expression. Taking place from November 12 to 14, 2026, in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico, the festival brings the magic of filmmaking to the forefront, highlighting the stories, perspectives, and creative talents that connect people across cultures and borders.

Guided by the inspiring message, “Cinema connects us, inspires us, and transforms us,” FICLAPAZ celebrates the ability of films to communicate powerful ideas, evoke emotions, spark meaningful conversations, and bring audiences together through shared human experiences. Cinema is more than entertainment; it is a universal language that allows people to explore different realities, discover new perspectives, and understand the world through the eyes of others.

The festival provides a platform for filmmakers, artists, creative professionals, cinema enthusiasts, and audiences to appreciate the diversity of cinematic expression. Through the art of visual storytelling, FICLAPAZ recognizes the dedication, imagination, and talent required to bring stories to life on screen. It also celebrates the individuals behind each production whose creativity and hard work make memorable cinematic experiences possible.
