Get creative and celebrate Día de Muertos with a hands-on family activity at MUVACA! On Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026, children and adults are invited to design and decorate their own traditional Day of the Dead skull masks.

In this fun and colorful workshop, participants will learn how to craft paper flowers and use them to give their masks a special, festive touch. The activity combines creativity, cultural tradition, and family bonding in a welcoming museum environment.

Sessions take place at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM each day, offering two convenient time slots. As with most family activities at the museum, this workshop is included with regular museum admission, making it an accessible and enriching experience for visitors of all ages.

Whether you want to create a unique mask to take home, introduce children to Día de Muertos traditions, or simply enjoy a creative afternoon in El Triunfo, the Little Skull Masks workshop is a perfect way to celebrate the season.
