The holy cleansing

“La Santa Limpieza” (The Sacred Cleanup) is an environmental volunteer event focused on cleaning and protecting mangrove ecosystems. This initiative will take place in Las Hamacas, El Centenario, bringing together community members who want to make a positive impact on the environment.
The cleanup is scheduled for April 11 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with the meeting point located along the northern highway at Kilometer 15. Participants will work together to remove trash and help preserve the natural beauty and ecological health of the mangroves.
Organized with the support of local groups such as MarLibre and volunteer organizations, the event encourages environmental awareness, community action, and conservation efforts.
This is a great opportunity for volunteers to contribute to protecting local wildlife habitats while enjoying the outdoors and supporting a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.
