The Government of the State of Baja California Sur, together with several cultural and scientific institutions, invites the public to the opening of the exhibition “Documenting Nature: Peninsular Botanical Archives.”

The inauguration will take place on February 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Exhibition Hall of the Centro Cultural Prof. Néstor Agúndez Martínez in the Pueblo Mágico of Todos Santos. The exhibition will remain open to the public from February 19 to March 13, 2026.

This exhibition highlights botanical archives from the Baja California peninsula, showcasing scientific research, historical documentation, and preserved plant specimens that reflect the region’s rich biodiversity. Organized in collaboration with institutions such as the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste and the Consejo Nacional de Humanidades, Ciencias y Tecnologías, the event celebrates the importance of documenting, studying, and preserving the natural heritage of the peninsula.
