Next to WalMart in San Jose del Cabo
Not only do my husband and I love to go and get fit, but we are in really, really good shape. We - he also loves watching sports, my husband is a die-hard sports maniac, and I love that he knows so much, so I’m there for only moral support. We have found that after a few years, we like these places for different reasons. Either way, you’ll find us there cheering for our favorite team. You will know who we are rooting for because you will hear my husband cheering and you won’t miss him because he will be the loudest person at the bar.
It's a little hidden but a great bar on the second floor across the street from Walmart. People-watching from the second story is interesting, their food is delicious and while you are enjoying yourself, your vehicle can get washed and cleaned at the nearby carwash. Hmmm ... this is a totally win-win for my husband and me. And I can go shopping at Walmart.
Sometimes you just want a little bit of home, and this is where to take your time to do so.
Their breakfast offerings are your typical all-American favorites - eggs any style, pancakes and sandwiches. I must say it's become a nice one-stop shop even on the days we don't go watch sports. They play some good music and have the friendliest staff. For lunch and dinner, they have a simple but tasty menu along with specials.
We walked past it one evening and they were playing the Cowboys, this is how we discovered it so it was meant to be.
About the food, oh let me tell you about these bare bones we left behind.; they just fell apart so we didn't have to work so hard. I will let you know in advance that these ribs are not only juicy but were seasoned perfectly, falling off the bone. You must try them without sauce then start dipping them into all their sauces to enjoy them all. Some are savory. The mango habanero has a sweet heat that is delicious.
The piece of corn they gave us on the side also didn't have a chance. They fry it quickly so it's crispy. Don't be fooled by the fried jalapenos they bring you. The flavor is amazing, but you will need to ease into biting them too quickly. Test it then proceed and dip it into the aioli.
The fries are crispy and skinny, and they went down fast with all those dipping sauces. This has become a relaxing trip as when I leave, my car is clean, my belly is full, my pantry is stocked at home and my husband gets his sports fix.
