At a recent press conference is was announced that Los Cabos, one of the most important tourist destinations now in Mexico, with 3 million visitors a year, generates 630 tons of waste daily! And garbage thrown on the ground is like throwing it into the sea. March 26th has been designated San Jose Clean Up Day. The goal is to mobilize 10,000 citizens (supported by the one thousand strong Los Cabos Restaurant Chamber) to go to one of 10 sites around the city for a massive clean up.
