Thousands of Sea Turtle Eggs Are Protected

The city’s ecology department reports that so far this year, 9,000 baby sea turtles have been released to sea, and that there are 33,899 eggs in protected nests along the Los Cabos beaches. This is only the beginning of the season, and the department expects the number of eggs to grow to over 100,000. Do not drive on the beach, you might run over an unprotected nest!
