The traditional Halloween parties and parades along downtown Cabo and San Jose have been banned in order to maintain the low level of spread of Covid-19 that we currently enjoy. Bars and restaurants will not be allowed to hold costumes contests either to prevent crowding. Mexico also celebrates the Day of the Dead on November 12st and 2nd with large crowds visiting their relatives’ tombs. This year, the cemeteries will be closed from October 30 through November 2. The Magic Town of Todos Santos has also cancelled its traditional Day of the Dead festival.
