Joseph Ruiz-Cheirez, born in Puebla, Central Mexico, has spent several years in Southern Baja photographing nature. His “Whale Pushing a Boat” won the Drone Awards 2020, beating 126 other photos. He has also won the Sienna Photo Awards, a Special Mention in the International National Geographic Awards, Lens Culture Photography and has been nominated to the Journeys 2020 awards.
