The performance will be presented by the Ensemble de Música de Cámara of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS) together with the community of Baja Music & Art Studio. \nThe event is organized with the support of the Gobierno del Estado de Baja California Sur and the Escuela de Música del Estado de Baja California Sur\, promoting artistic expression and recognition of women’s contributions to classical music. \nThe recovery fee is $3  dollars\, and the concert offers an opportunity for the community to enjoy chamber music while honoring the creativity and influence of women composers throughout history.

DESCRIPTION:From Thursday\, February 5 to Saturday\, February 7\, 2026\, the Sala de Conciertos Mtro. Luis Peláez García (inside the Casa de Cultura del Estado in downtown La Paz\, BCS) transforms into a vibrant stage for “Conciertos con Causa” a heartfelt series of benefit concerts organized by the Escuela de Música del Estado de Baja California Sur. \nAt the heart of the event is renowned percussionist and educator Luís Antonio de Ibarra Martínez (professor of drums at the state music school and Casa de Cultura)\, who teams up with the charismatic drummer known as Willy to lead three unforgettable evenings of diverse live music. All proceeds are voluntary donations supporting the music school’s programs\, student scholarships\, instrument acquisition\, and community cultural initiatives.
