The competition will be held under a catch-and-release format\, encouraging environmental awareness and the conservation of local marine resources while still allowing participants to enjoy the thrill of the sport. \nRegistration will take place on July 3\, 2026\, at the Community School\, with participants receiving event information and competition rules. The official fishing day will be held on July 4\, 2026\, at La Pitahaya\, where anglers will gather for the morning start and spend the day competing for prizes and recognition.
