DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 30th edition of the Punta Chivato Annual Fishing Tournament\, one of the most anticipated sportfishing events in the region. Taking place from June 19–21\, 2026\, this exciting competition is dedicated exclusively to Dorado (Mahi-Mahi) fishing and brings together anglers\, boating enthusiasts\, and ocean lovers for an unforgettable weekend on the waters of the Sea of Cortez. \nParticipants will enjoy not only the thrill of the tournament itself but also a complete event experience that includes an official tournament shirt\, a welcome package\, drink tickets\, a welcome dinner\, and an awards banquet. Competitors will have the opportunity to test their skills against fellow anglers while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and world-class fishing opportunities that Punta Chivato is known for. \nThe event begins on Friday with participant registration and the traditional Captains’ Dinner\, followed by the official tournament start on Saturday morning. The weekend concludes on Sunday with the Awards Ceremony and Closing Dinner\, where winners will be recognized and celebrated.
