DESCRIPTION:Mexican wrestlers of yesterday and today take us “on the mat” to learn about their historic struggle against all kinds of obstacles\, as well as their personal battles inside and outside the ring.  \nWith unwavering pride\, they safeguard a part of the country’s sporting heritage\, which they share from the Arena Femenil in Monterrey\, home of Lucha Libre Femenil (LLF)\, a promotion that\, despite sometimes facing threats to its continuity and survival\, is dedicated “without time limits” to the exclusive promotion of national and international wrestlers.  \nIt’s a film that shifts the focus to the ring to show that resistance is also waged through sport and entertainment. The audience will learn about the obstacles these wrestlers face\, as well as their personal battles inside and outside the ring\, remembering that they are not only defending their place in the ring\, but also the memory and recognition of a historically marginalized discipline.
