Martínez\, the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur\, the Centro del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia en Baja California Sur\, and the Museo Regional de Antropología e Historia are pleased to announce the II National Encounter of History and Anthropology 2026. \nThis important academic and cultural event will take place from November 25 to 27\, 2026\, at the Sala de Usuarios del Archivo Histórico Pablo L. Martínez in La Paz\, Baja California Sur. \nThe encounter brings together historians\, anthropologists\, archaeologists\, ethnologists\, chroniclers\, researchers\, students\, and all those interested in the history\, anthropology\, archaeology\, and cultural studies of Mexico. It provides a space for dialogue\, reflection\, and the presentation of research on the processes of human settlement\, the formation of cities\, and the historical development of urban and rural communities throughout the country. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to present papers\, engage in academic discussions\, and share knowledge on topics ranging from pre-Hispanic settlements to contemporary urban transformations\, including social\, cultural\, economic\, and environmental perspectives.
