DESCRIPTION:Milagritos: Cardboard Art Workshop Part of the “Mar de Formas” Program \nThe Museo de Arte de Baja California Sur invites adults aged 60 and older to participate in a creative and meaningful workshop titled “Milagritos: Arte en Cartón” (Little Miracles: Cardboard Art)\, led by the talented artist Ximena González. \nThis hands-on workshop offers a beautiful opportunity for older adults to explore their creativity through the versatile and accessible medium of cardboard. Participants will learn techniques to transform simple cardboard into colorful\, symbolic\, and personal “milagritos”  traditional Mexican folk art pieces often used as offerings or symbols of gratitude\, protection\, and hope. \nUnder the expert guidance of Ximena González\, attendees will discover how to cut\, paint\, assemble\, and decorate these charming pieces\, turning everyday material into small works of art filled with personal meaning and cultural significance.
