SUMMARY:Mixed media and Geometry - Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Mixed Techniques and Geometry\, designed to introduce participants to the exploration of visual expression through a combination of artistic methods and structured design principles. Led by visual artist Alejandra Pacheco\, the workshop offers a guided experience where attendees can experiment with different materials\, textures\, and geometric compositions to create unique and meaningful artwork. \nHeld at the Galería de Arte Cerrito del Timbre\, the sessions take place on multiple dates throughout May 2026\, allowing for both continuity and flexibility in participation. The workshop is divided into different sessions tailored to specific age groups\, including one aimed at participants aged 12 and older\, and another designed specifically for adults. Each session runs for two hours in the afternoon\, providing a focused yet relaxed environment for learning and artistic development. \nThroughout the workshop\, participants are encouraged to engage with fundamental concepts of geometry such as symmetry\, patterns\, and spatial organization while integrating them with mixed media techniques. This approach not only enhances technical skills but also fosters creativity\, critical thinking\, and personal expression. The instructor guides attendees step by step\, ensuring that both beginners and those with prior experience can benefit from the process. \nAlthough the activity is presented as accessible to the community\, a small recovery fee per session helps support materials and organization. Overall\, the workshop serves as a valuable cultural initiative\, promoting artistic education and community engagement while offering participants the opportunity to develop new skills and express themselves through art in a supportive and inspiring setting.
