Social Group Ends Year with Holiday Cruise

Los Cabos Tomatoes, a local ladies social and networking group, finalized the holiday season onboard the Cabo Wave, one of Wild Cabo Tours' fleet of boats, with 130 members and guests Wednesday, December 18, 2019. The two-hour Fajita Dinner Sunset Cruise began with the majority of the party-goers on the upper deck as the beautiful double-decker catamaran slid smoothly from the boat terminal. Sipping spirited beverages while lounging on comfortable seats, and taking in the breathtaking views of the world-famous Land's End arch, the floating nightclub offered the embodiment of holiday merriment. MC Alexander Mendoza in red Santa attire got the crowd up and dancing to the guitar strings of DJ Zinder Gutierrez.

Though the dress code was holiday casual, many ladies took advantage of the social season and decked themselves out in sparkles, furry boots, and jaunty Santa hats, adding to the jollity of the occasion. While sidling along the coastline, the patrons were taken aback by a rescue boat that came alongside with lights blinking indicating the right to board, adding to the excitement for the crowd. All the pilot wanted was a couple of canned sodas. The crew on the Cabo Wave accommodated by throwing a few cans to the boat, receiving big smiles and a wave as the rescue boat pulled away. A buffet of chicken, beef and veggie fajitas was served on the lower deck complete with all the trimmings of guacamole, beans, rice, salad, and salsas.

Julie Anderson, Director of Venues for the group, assisted with the coordination of the event with Hector Rosales, in charge of group sales for Wild Cabo Tours (624-143-9856), Marilyn Plank assisted with check-in. Everyone was asked to bring a gift for a child or teen to be distributed to the Colonias on Christmas morning. Los Cabos Tomatoes was formed in 1991 and currently has over 600 members on its membership roster. General meetings commenced on January 16. For information, contact
