An invitation to protest and denounce violence against women is doing its rounds in social media. The event will take place Monday, April 4 in San Jose. The time and place has not been revealed, but they usually start at the roundabout of La Mega store and continues as a march towards City Hall in downtown San Jose to demand government actions to stop violence against women. It will create some traffic chaos, so stay away if you can, or join in. From January to March this year, the local police received 1,070 emergency calls reporting domestic violence. It is still a serious problem in Mexico.
