The second season of the direct Condor Airlines flight between Germany and Los Cabos concluded in April with strong occupancy and demand, reinforcing the route as one of the destination’s most important connections to the European market.
According to FITURCA, the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, the route recorded an occupancy rate of nearly 76% from November 2025 through April 2026, reflecting sustained interest from international travelers.
FITURCA Director Rodrigo Esponda said the route maintained steady reservations even in its final weeks, surpassing expectations and reaffirming the viability of the transatlantic service. The flight, which launched in November 2024, has quickly become a key choice for attracting European visitors during the winter travel season.
Third season confirmed through 2027
Based on those results, FITURCA and Condor Airlines confirmed the route will return for a third season in November 2026 and continue in 2027. Sales for the upcoming season are already progressing, signaling another positive response from the market.
Although the flight flies directly to Germany, FITURCA said a growing number of travelers from other European countries are also using the route, broadening Los Cabos’ reach across the continent.
European market expansion drives tourism growth
Markets showing growth include Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain and the United Kingdom, helping diversify tourism arrivals to Los Cabos.
FITURCA data shows many German visitors arriving through the route are high-spending travelers, with annual incomes ranging from $45,000 to $100,000. Average spending in the destination exceeds $3,500.
Most visitors also choose upscale hotels and rent vehicles to explore the region, increasing the economic impact across multiple sectors.
