Michelin Star Dining in Los Cabos: An Experience Like No Other

Michelin Stars are awarded based on consistent performance, meaning that the restaurant’s food and service should remain consistently high-quality over time.

The Michelin Guide committee recently presented the award-winning restaurants for the 2025 edition. Two of these restaurants received two stars, and 21 received one star, and one is in Los Cabos.

Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Nuevo León, Baja California Norte, and Baja California Sur are the states hosting the most recognized restaurants in this edition of the Guide.

The restaurant Cocina de Autor Los Cabos, located inside the Grand Velas hotel in the Tourist Corridor, has received a Michelin star for the second consecutive year and is run by Dutch chef Sidney Schutte and chef Francisco Sixtos, a native of Jalisco.

Also in Los Cabos, restaurants such as Flora’s Field Kitchen, Acre, OliveaFarm to Table, Lunario, and Comal have been recognized by the Michelin Guide for their culinary excellence and received the Green Star, highlighting their commitment to sustainability.

Additionally, several Los Cabos restaurants, including Árbol, Benno, Dum, Los Tres Gallos, Lumbre, Manta, Nao, Omakai, Oystera, Paradero, and Ruba’s Bakery, have been included in the guide.

It is worth mentioning that, beyond the food, Michelin Stars also consider the restaurant’s ambiance, service, and overall dining experience, contributing to a memorable and enjoyable time for diners.

And Los Cabos has it!
