In the heart of the Sierra la Laguna, known for its biodiversity and its peculiar climate, nature offered a spectacle this November 18, when images of the region reflected the intensity of cold front number 10.
An outdoor thermometer, mounted on a log, showed temperatures dropping below freezing, reaching 23 F°. An unexpected figure in a state usually associated with desert heat.
The images released by the Sierra de la Laguna Ranch are a reminder of the unique microclimate that manifests itself high in the mountains, where climatic oscillations generate a landscape that is surprisingly different from that of the rest of the state.
