Our friend Emma Nicholson from RONIVAL Real Estate shared some fantastic news for those driving through Baja! Emma and her crew just drove back from Bend, Oregon, to Los Barriles via San Felipe and had a surprisingly smooth trip.
She thanked everyone for their reports about the infamous potholes before heading out, saying the road conditions are way better than back in May. There are now multiple crews actively filling potholes along the route.

Emma reported only a few rough patches north of Guerrero Negro and near Ciudad Constitución, but overall, the drive was manageable—even with two vehicles and a trailer in tow.
