Luxury Cabo Resort Kitchen Catches on Fire. The Cabo San Lucas fire department received a call asking for help Wednesday evening. The emergency reported was a fire inside the kitchen of the luxurious Nobu resort on the Pacific side a few minutes outside of Cabo on the road to Todos Santos. The fire reportedly started in a kitchen air duct, where grease usually accumulates and becomes very flammable. The fire was controlled by 8 p.m. but the firefighters remained inspecting the area with thermal cameras and a drone to make sure all fire was extinguished. Bravo!
