This past Friday, October 25, Soluciones en Piedra Franco, a major contracting company specializing in the supply and placement of natural stones such as Ojinaga and Travertine marble, granite, quarry, slate and several others, both national and imported, had an open house in their new showroom. It is located in the street of Ejido, between Álvaro Obregón and 12 de Octubre, in the Juárez neighborhood, between the old downtown Pemex station here in Cabo San Lucas.
During the open house Ernesto Franco, general manager and owner of the company, proudly presented his spectacular showroom, where several employees introduced the materials and technology used for finishing marble, the cutting and polishing machines and the work they do in general. There were more than one hundred guests invited, including architects, real estate developers, and current customers. The event was garnished with chill music provided by DJ Alejandro Rivas, as well as luscious appetizers such as quiche with fresh salmon and tarragon, empanadas, lots of wine and refreshing drinks. Everything was brought by Mise en Place – a local virtual kitchen and caterer.

The cherry on top was an inaugural cocktail followed by a speech from Mr. Franco, celebrating his lifetime’s work involved with natural stones, embellishing buildings, hotels, museums and houses alike for almost 40 years (next year). He expressed his gratitude to all his guests and happily welcomed this new store in a city that is very dear to him.

Soluciones en Piedra Franco was also in charge of placing all the marble inside another very emblematic building in Mexico City; this time we are talking about the Reforma Tower, located on perhaps the most important avenue in the country – Paseo de la Reforma. This 246-meter (807-foot) building won “the most innovative skyscraper in the world” in 2018!
Another important project they have been involved in is the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel – a spectacular resort secluded in a natural reserve on a private peninsula next to El Tamarindo golf course, in the town of La Manzanilla in the state of Jalisco.
Here in Cabo, they started working almost twenty years ago at Casa Dorada Hotel – next to Mango Deck, and most recently they have been working in the Discovery Residences at Chileno Bay, as well as the St Regis Hotel, Monte Rosella in El Tezal, just to name a few.
As you can see, it’s not their first rodeo; these guys are no amateurs, and with a team of around eighty people here in Cabo, plus their Mexico City office, they have achieved success by focusing on quality, customer service and by knowing that their best letter of recommendation is their customers’ word of mouth.
