Yep, it’s happening! Oscar Leggs, the Los Cabos mayor, has given the go-ahead for the construction of a Home Depot at the former Fonatur offices site in San Jose, right across from Walmart. If you know the area, then you know that this roundabout already holds the crown for the most chaotic traffic spot in Los Cabos. And now, with a new Home Depot, we can only imagine what’s in store for drivers!
Leggs’ last day in office is this Friday, September 27, and after that, it’ll be Christian Agundez’s turn to take the reins as the new mayor. Let’s see how things play out with this transition and what surprises are in store for us next.
