Baja California Sur has received a whopping US $16.5 million in tourist taxes in the first half of the year, and half of that amount is heading straight to Los Cabos. With so many tourists flocking to this beautiful region, it’s no wonder the funds are pouring in.
The city plans to put 1% of these funds toward infrastructure. Fingers crossed, this means that many of those pesky potholes around town will finally be filled! It’s about time our roads got the love they deserve.
